While mental health issues are on the rise for everyone, they are at crisis levels for our country's first responders. The Responder Strong app helps first responders across the country manage with the most important tool they use on the job, their own mind and mental health. Secondarily, firefighters, police and paramedics have the vital physical tools and equipment that are needed to carry out their duties. By equating their own mental health to their valued equipment and training, we created these posters to encourage them to pay attention to the biggest priority of the job: Themselves.
